A Call Me Out Meme has been discovered!

Okay, yeah there's nothing special about this, it's just your standard CMO but your only choices are Dangans. I wanted to have some fun with it, execute me why don't you. ANYHOO, just put the character you want in the subject line and let's have some fun! Please don't feel like you're limited to dangans just because they're the only characters I feel like playing right now, as always I love me some cross canon interactions. Brackets, prose, former game universes...it's whatever floats your SHSL Party Boat here. Just put the character you want in the subject line, give me a scenario, and have at it! (just please nothing age-inappropriate for Nagisa because he's literally 10, thank you!)

[Woah, woah, woah!! Now that's not fair! Fuyuhiko is Kougetsuren's scion, he should get first dibs on the lap? Which is exactly why the white dragon drops his end of the rope and squirms his way into Fuyuhiko's lap with his sister.]

O-oi, watch it!! Both of you! [He has a lap full of wriggling dragons and how did it come to this? What did he ever do to deserve such a fate. He scritches both of them behind their ears, just as his sister finally makes it into his room.]

I was giving Kougetsuren a little strength training but...I guess we're taking a little break from that now. [He glances down at the white dragon and raises a brow in an accusatory sort of way but the dragon barely even seems bothered. Don't like, scion. You were playing with him, you both know it. This wasn't training of any kind.]

Strength training, huh? [You mean you were playing with him? But she won't call him out on that, instead moving to stand beside him and look down at his lap full of dragons.] How's he coming along?

[Ebitsuki of course happily made room for her brother in the lap, only getting even more excited when he decided to join in. While the scritches behind her ears does calm her down some in that she's no longer wriggling, Kougetsuren's finding himself the victim of a vicious, affectionate licking attack.]

[Um...if he meant "playing with him" he would have said it, obviously! This was definitely very strenuous strength training.]

Not bad. He's a badass little shit. [He gives Kougetsuren an affectionate pat on the head, then stops petting both of them since Eibitsuki clearly wants to show her own affection to her brother for a bit. Best to just leave them to it, clearly. Especially since Kougetsuren isn't making any attempt to fight off this vicious attack. He trills happily, returning his sister's licks with a few of his own.] Bet he could take out a crab on his own now with no problem.

[In other words: without getting snipped, giving the crab time to flee...]

Natsumi takes this chance to kneel down beside them, unable to help herself from reaching forward to pet them a little. Only a little though! She won't interrupt them either.]

That strong, huh? Pretty impressive! You working hard to get strong, Kougetsuren?

[What a cutie...they're so adorable.]

Think you can take a break oniichan? She's getting hungry so I figured we could have lunch together.

[That way you could do the gross honor of mushing up the fish for her princess...]

[At hearing his name, Kougetsuren looks over and chirrups at Natsumi, wagging his tail back and forth. He is working so hard!! Just you wait, he will be such a strong dragon. And then he can protect you and Ebitsuki and his scion.]

[Fuyuhiko, on the other hand, gives his sister a very flat look. He's pretty sure he knows where this is going...]

You really wanna have lunch together or do you just want me to make lunch for Eibitsuki?

[He knows how much you dislike the dirty work when it comes to feeding the babies.]

[She bets you will! You'll be super strong. Stronger than all the other dragons, because you're Fuyuhiko's dragon. Clearly his is going to be the most badass, no matter what she says to his face.]

Hey, I'm hungry! I was thinking of making us something while you make them something. [That's absolutely what it was. She shrugs.] But if you aren't hungry then I guess I'll skip that and only make lunch for me.

[Well shit. If it's a straight trade...]

I guess I could eat, yeah. [He scritches Kougetsuren behind his ear again.] What about you, huh? You hungry?

[The dragon gives another chirrup, nibbling at Fuyuhiko's fingers. Of course he's hungry. He's a baby dragon. When is he NOT hungry?]

Well that answers that. Alright, y'little shits. Let's get up and get lunch. Come on.

[He gives the dragons little nudges. He can't stand up while you're in his lap, after all!]

[There's a happy smile on Natsumi's face and a happy squeak from Ebitsuki. Lunch! Food! This sounds good to her, this was why she came screeching in there in the first place. The nudges get the little black dragon out of his lap pretty quickly, dashing little circles in front of him as she waits for her brother. Come on! Come on! Food!]

What are you in the mood for, oniichan? I've been gettin' better at the local cuisine, so I can probably make more than just the boring old bread and meat sandwich.

[Probably. Some things still elude her. Cooking with magic, predictably, was and still is pretty weird. But she's well on her way to being a magic chef. Totally.]

Hmmm...surprise me. [Kougetsuren slithers out of his scion's lap and follows after his sister. He's not jumping around in circles, but he's clearly pretty keen to get to the kitchen as well. Wasting absolutely no time in moving towards the door, this one. Just look at him toddle.] Nothing too spicy though. Or sour or bitter.

[You know how your brother is when it comes to tastes...sweet or nothing.]

[Once he's toddling towards the door, Ebitsuki is following right after, mouth latching onto his tail. Choo-choo! Lunch train!]

You're talking as if I don't know that kind stuff about you already. Like I'd make you any of those kinds of things.

[She holds a hand out to her brother, see if he wants any help to his feet. He can of course do it on his own, but there's no saying she can't at least offer.]

But alright, I'll make you something I learned recently. It's really good, you'll like it.

[But she's not saying what it is because he DID say to surprise him.]

[Choo choo! The white dragon squawks happily, speeding up his toddling ever so slightly once his sister is onboard. They're going to be halfway to the kitchen by the time the scions leave the room...]

Hey, I'm just covering all my bases. [He takes her hand, and pulls himself to his feet.] I don't wanna hear "well you said anything, oniichan," because you felt like bein' a tricky little smartass.

[Yes, he did put on a bit of a falsetto for his Natsumi impression. Because of course he did. He loves you and all, but he wouldn't put a move like that past you, you little shit.]

[They may as well make their own food with how fast their scions are moving!!

There's a little bark of a laugh from Natsumi at the falsetto, arms crossing once he's on his feet.]

Aww but oniichan, you didn't say anything, you said "surprise me". There's a big difference! And besides, you're doing me a favor, y'know? I can't stand making that fish crap. You really think I'm gonna screw myself over making you something you don't like?

[She turns to finally start walking towards the kitchen herself.]

I know how to be diplomatic a little better than that, thank you very much!

[If you help him up onto the counter, Eibi, he'll do it? He's seen his scion do it loads of times. He totally knows how to prepare those delicious, mushy fishes. ~~No.~~]

[Fuyuhiko shrugs, making his way towards the door.]

Wouldn't put it past you, even so. You can't honestly tell me the thought didn't at least cross your mind. 'specially since you know I wouldn't screw your dragon over just to get back at you.

[That would just be low!]

[She can do that! Getting up on the counters is super easy. Her scion lets her do it all the time. But how are they gonna get those fish? She's not really sure how to get them out of the ice box...]

Hey, you wouldn't screw her over! Don't talk like I wouldn't do it myself if I had to, I'm not gonna starve her or something.

[Like, excuse you? Where do you get off insinuating something like that, asshole??]

[Fuyuhiko raises a brow, clearly not buying it.]

I wasn't sayin' you would starve her, calm down. But I have no doubt that you'd find some poor sap in town to get his hands dirty for you if I wasn't here.

[Despite his word, he doesn't sound all that disapproving. He just knows you, Natsumi. He knows you're really good at manipulating people. A good skill for a yakuza daughter.]

Anyway, it won't be long before neither of us are gonna have to do it. Soon they'll be big enough to kill and eat their own fish without our help.

[She's pretty sure that's what you were saying just then!! But fine!!]

Guess that is coming up pretty soon, isn't it? Can't believe they're growing up so fast...you'd think it'd take them a while or something since they're so big.

[Then again they are just big animals? Big lizards...how long does it take a lizard to grow up?]

[Fuyuhiko nods.]

I've already started trying to teach Kougetsuren, though I think I may have started a little to early, to tell the truth. The first couple of attempts were...

[Utterly pathetic. He's spared having to actually admit this however, having just entered the kitchen and caught sight of the dragons up on the counters.]

Oi! What do you two think you're doing, huh?

[They cook on those countertops? They are not a place for dirty dragon feet? Fuyuhiko rushes over and scoops them both put, putting them down on the ground.] You know better than to climb up there!

[Or, at least, Kougetsuren does. And the dragon looks properly ashamed of himself at his scion's stern look, ears and tail drooping once he's on the ground.]

[Natsumi would love to express some interest in what he "caught" so far, because she's sure that sentence was probably going to indicate that the answer is a big 0, leaving her proud of herself for not sending Eibitsuki out to hunt just yet, but oh dear. They're causing trouble.

Eibi doesn't look remotely ashamed. Not at first, anyway. She glances at her brother once on the ground, looking back up at Fuyuhiko...before drooping her ears and tail too. Only she's also curling up a little, keeping her eyes on the ground...

She's sooooo sorry............(probably.)

Natsumi doesn't say anything herself though, just watching the scene. Or observing, more like. She doesn't particularly mind it when her dragon joins her for cooking or snacking, but watching her brother scold them...huh. Maybe she shouldn't? Or maybe she should keep her on her shoulders during that instead of on the counters...or something.]

[Yes, Natsumi, your dragon definitely belongs on your shoulders when you're cooking. Or on a towel, f you really want to put her on the counter. What the hell. You wouldn't let a dog or a cat up on the counter while you were cooking, would you???]

[Fuyuhiko continues to look sternly at the dragons for another minute or so, arms folded on his chest. But...dammit, he just can't stay mad at these little guys. They're too cute...]

[So, eventually, he sighs and leans back down, holding an arm out to each dragon so they can scamper up onto his shoulders if they want.]

Alright, come on then. If you stay put, you can watch from my shoulders, got it? No jumping down or digging in with your claws, otherwise you'll have vegetables for lunch instead of fish.

[Kougetsuren grimaces at the mention of vegetables, giving a disgusted little noise. Ewwww. Gross. Veggies! After expressing his displeasure, he winds his way up his scion's arm to perch himself on Fuyuhiko's right shoulder. Fish, fish, fish!!!]

[Okay first of all dogs are either too big or too uncoordinated to be up on the counters. Cats, on the other hand...she might let one of them up there. They're a little more graceful than dogs. No offense to dogs of course, she loves them, but let's be real here.

She watches as her dragon follows the little white one's example, winding up his other arm in excitement. There wasn't any distasteful sound about veggies, and once she's on his shoulder she's rubbing her nose and cheek against Fuyuhiko's face. She loves you! She knew you couldn't stay mad at her. Fish, fish, fish!!!!]

On your shoulders, huh?

[You're a real softy, aren't you bro? Here she thought you might make her take them out of the kitchen but look at you. Though doesn't that make it a little difficult to cook?]

[Fuyuhiko gives Eibitsuki an ever so slight cheek nuzzle in return. The most slight. Because your scion is here and she'll give him shit for being too much of a softy if she saw something like that. But rest assured, he loves you too, little shit though you may be.]

Yeah, Kougetsuren likes watching and I don't see any reason not to let him. So long as he's not standing on the damn counter.

[If he were actually cooking, maybe. But...he's not really cooking here, is he? Just cooking and mashing up fish for their toothless dragons...]

[She can give him plenty of nuzzles on her own to make up for the lack of some on his end. Even as she excitedly squeaks about the fish being done up.]

Maybe it'll teach'em how to make their own fish up.

[Natsumi moves to stand next to him, watching him work for a moment before moving to their ice box instead. You do your fish thing bro, she'll get lunch started.]

Okay so...do you want the beef-ish meat or the pork-ish meat? Or do you want fish?

[They aren't true beef and pork...at least she doesn't think so. Is it still the same kind of meet even if they aren't on the same planet?]

Beef, definitely.

[It's said without a moment's hesitation. As much as he likes fish, he's never really in the mood for it immediately after making the dragon mush. Perhaps understandably.]

[Once he gets a fish out of the icebox, he sets to gutting it. He's still not exactly the best at this part, but without their dad there with them, necessity made him learn. And he can manage it well enough, especially considering the fish is just going to be ground up in the end.]

Or whatever it is. Weird magic cow.

[There's a affirmative noise from her as she moves to pull out some beef and other ingredients to work with after him. He can have fun getting personal with his fish, she's gonna whip up some delicious beef dish. There's a snort of laughter at the "magic cow" comment.]

Putting it that way makes me wonder if we should be eating this shit. Next thing you know we're gonna start flying because we've been eating magic meat.

[Okay, time to start prepping for this food.]
